Because making money as a home based marketing consultant is often fast and easy for most people — even people without a lot of experience or start up money — there tends to be a lot of people who want to “copy cat” what you’re doing so they can join in on the good times without doing the work.

In fact, regardless of copyright, trademark and other intellectual property notices, if you develop a marketable new concept or twist for making money as a home based marketing consultant (and you probably will when you get into it), and if enough people find out about it, then there will be people (usually online) who will try to rip it off within nanoseconds.

Is this something you should be alarmed about? Does this mean you need to have an “attack dog” lawyer on retainer to take care of the cheats and crooks?
