Management of a Work from home business may be divided
into three categories:
Site Management and Control
Campaign Marketing and Advertising
Budget Planning, Accounting, and Audit.
To DRIVE home the importance of these functions, for a successful
work from home business, we went to an extreme.
We actually registered three DIFFERENT Domains.
Their web responsibilities are outlined below.
Site Management and Control -
Site #1 - provides webmastering services ie.: website design,
content editing, SEO services, and tech Services.
It is an operating unit of our company,
Opportunities Now Internet Marketing Services.
Overview
This unit reviews our sites frequently, continually adds new RELATIVE content,
and link partners. It monitors the progress of our SEO efforts, and provides
tech services for all our sites.
A recent addition, to this site is a SITE MAP. A Site Map is a excellent
way to gain favorable position when submitting to Search Engines.
Search Engines are able to “feel their way around your site” quickly
and easily.
It is not necessary for a SITE MAP to be fancy.
Site Maps are not designed for your visitors to Ohh! or Ahh!. They are designed
for GoogleBot, or any “Buddybot”, to “feel” and be amazed at your wonderful
CONTENT. Be Creative in YOUR OWN WAY! Honor the copyrights, trade names,
and trademarks of others.

IS PROPERLY MENTIONED, by date, location and NAME.
Finally, have control of your site. It must be REGISTERED in YOUR NAME,
(or your company name). If you do not have the ability to EDIT CONTENT,
KEYWORDS, DESIGN, etc., in my opinion, you have NOTHING!
Site control is referred to as web mastering. You do not need to have web
master skills. That service MAY be DELEGATED to a TRUSTED third Party.
YOU tell them what to do.
Site #2 is the Campaign Marketing and Advertising operating unit
of Opportunities Now Internet Marketing Services.
Responsibilites include the design and implementation of successful email,
SEO, or other form of advertising strategy, in compliance with existing laws,
and standards, applicable to those strategies, and within the predetermined
marketing plan.
For example: Spam laws, ethical advertising, (no hype), “mix” of services
to be implemented while operating within the company’s budget requirements.
This site IS NOT a Mirror Site of the other sites we operate. Though the content
is similar, and has links pointing to the main operating site, there are differences.
Any of four marketing strategies, FEED traffic from this site to our
main operating site.

Branding
Not only do we maintain statistical information regarding individual email
campaigns, we compile statistics from individual search engines as well.
This site “feeds” about 50% of ALL traffic to the main operating site.
The site name is easy to remember, short, (like GMAC, HQ, FFA, or many
other acronyms most of us immediately recognize), AND describes the site’s
contents. This made it very easy to BRAND this site.

popular, YOU’RE TOSSING LEAVES IN THE WIND. Having NO IDEA where
they fall is a wast of time AND MONEY!

Time Management - Time is MONEY on the Internet.
You will hear this time and time again. Wasted time, No time, Precious time!
If you are not SPENDING TIME developing your work from home business,
in my opinion, you have NO WORK FROM HOME BUSINESS!
Organize time. If necessary, BUY A CAP labeled “Site Management”,
then”Campaign Management”, another “Budget Management”
Put EACH cap on everyday! No matter how much TIME you have,
wear each cap!
Divide YOUR TIME in equal portions and devote YOUR TIME to EACH!

DO IT! Set a monthly budget, within your individua!
l means.
Each quarter,
after reviewing results, make adjustments.
Which item of expense are increasing?
Which items of INCOME are decreasing?
Adjust EACH item. For example if hosting fees are more than the previous
quarter. find a less expensive hosting company. But, be careful! Less expense
may mean fewer services, more downtime, poor customer service. Ask YOUR
mentor for a recommendation.
Then, YOU check them out.
If an affiliate/partner program is not performing, find out why!
Are you tracking ads to watch Click Through Rates (CTR)?
Does your ad copy smell of SPAM?
Or, do your headlines make others fall asleep?
If so Adjust them!
