The Ten Rules Of Leadership In Network Marketing
(presented by www.data-entry-jobs.net - data entry jobs)

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

By Joe Rispoli

The network marketing industry has provided more millionaires in the last ten years than in any other industry.

So how do you define leadership?

Leadership is the ability to influence and inspire others to follow you.

Below are ten rules of leadership in network marketing. Work on incorporating them into your daily routine. A true leader takes consistent action, so it is important that you be consistent in your application of these rules.

Write down the 10 Rules of Leadership! (Seriously - Get out a piece of paper and pen and write them down, or at least cut and paste them to a document.)

1. The Leader should have a goal larger than those that he/she leads. Your downline needs to know that you are planning for the future and also understand that your financial goals coincide with theirs.

2. The Leader must have an attitude greater then those that he/she leads. A leader is optimistic and focuses on the solutions and not the problems.

3. The Leader is responsible and admits when he/she has made a mistake. As a leader you are responsible for the things that go wrong in your team.

4. The Leader should make decisive decisions. All decisions are not correct, but if they are made with the right reasons in mind, then the right decisions will come more often. Strive to do the right thing and do not worry about doing things right.

5. The Leader always puts those that he/she leads first. When your downline sees that you are looking out for their best interests, they will work harder since they will realize that your goal is their success. People honestly don

Network Marketing: The Evil That Men Do
(presented by www.data-entry-jobs.net - data entry jobs)

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

By Donovan Baldwin

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ON THE SUBJECT OF NETWORK MARKETING

“The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.”

- William Shakespeare

I am sure that Mr. Shakespeare, as a struggling young playwright and actor in London knew well the value of network marketing. In fact, probably most of his parts and opportunities came from his connections with those who could get him a part, back his play, and so on. I am sure he had a strong concept of networking.

It is also equally probable, particularly in light of the quote at the start of this article, that he understood what could happen to his networking efforts if he was found to be unable to backup claims about his product or service.

In the usual marketing scheme of things, advertisers buy the opportunity to place their offerings in front of large quantities of potential customers. In network marketing, the entrepreneur is often limited in budget and tends to contact potential customers or business partners one or two at a time. At best, he or she may put on a presentation for a small group. For most of us however, our broadest and most effective form of advertising comes from satisfied customers or business partners.

When a network marketing company or one of its representatives fails to live up to expectations, three things may happen:

1. The injured party becomes suspicious and distrustful of the representative at least, and perhaps may extend these feelings to the company as well.

2. The injured party becomes distrustful and suspicious of network marketing in general.

3. The injured party becomes a fine network marketer, spreading the word about the evil that was done him or her by this “network marketing” rip-off.

All network marketers depend on good words spoken of them by their customers and business partners. By acting greedily or by ignoring the needs and expectations of customers and business partners, not only are they diminishing their ability !
to funct
ion efficiently, but they are also recruiting new members for a very vocal group who view network marketing and multi-level marketing in a very negative light.

This was brought home to me recently when I attempted to purchase several hundred dollar’s worth of advertising on a site which reached a group of people who would have been excellent prospects for one of my products.

Let me make the point that this product is perfectly legitimate and can save users hundreds of dollars. The company has been in business for years, and has a very high internal code of ethics. It does, however, make all sales through network marketing using a multi-level marketing model.

The owner of the website refused to accept the advertising simply based on his argument that as it is a network marketing and multi-level marketing company, running ads for the company would tarnish the image his website has for integrity. He was willing to grant that the product seemed to be good and he could find no fault with it. However, because of what he felt would be a negative reaction to his being associated with this type of marketing; he refused to accept the advertising order.

We in network marketing know that much of this negative reaction comes from so-called MLM schemes such as the “Lawyer Brown” letter, or the “$90,000 in 90 Days” scam, as well as a multitude of questionable products and services that have been sold through “network marketing” or “multi-level marketing” business opportunity models.

It is generally stated by those who study customer dissatisfaction that a satisfied customer will tell from 3 to 5 others about his or her positive experience. That is good. That is what we are hoping for in network marketing. That is how we get the most “bang for our buck” whether we have paid out cold hard cash or invested in “sweat equity”. However, the same studies indicate that a dissatisfied customer may also tell 4 or more other people about their NEGATIVE experience. What makes this particularl!
y intere
sting is that according to the Customer Dissatisfaction Study released by the Verde Group and Baker Retailing Initiative at Wharton:

  • “…Shoppers experiencing problems are five times more likely to tell a friend about it than contact the company”, and…

  • “…For every 100 American shoppers, 64 people will be told about a store’s poor products or services and no matter what that store does to entice shoppers - sales, promotions, advertising, marketing - those people will not set foot in their store,”

  • “…More than 50 per cent of Americans report that a negative shopping experience of a friend or colleague will prevent them from setting foot in a store altogether.”

As you can imagine, as those people tell other people, those people will pass on what they have heard about you, your company, and network marketing in general. Ironically, that is also network marketing. You have some control over whether it is good or bad by how you select the companies you associate yourself with and how you treat your customers and business partners.

In this, the first in a series of articles, we discuss the growth in the marketability of what used to be called Peoples Art and the marketability of everyday packaging materials.

In the past it would have been deemed as vulgar to display any form of branding of any goods on display within the house.

Free Advertising For Your Internet Business
(presented by www.data-entry-jobs.net - data entry jobs)

By Campbell Shaw

When starting off in business one of the first major tasks to get done is to get your product infront of people. This obviously is done by advertising. But for many an advertising budget just isn`t possible when first starting out. This is where free advertising can be very effective.

For free advertising to have a good effect on your business you are going to need a few things. Time, patience, drive and consistency. Free advertising takes alot of time, but is well worth the effort in the end. And you will need to be patient because it won`t bring results straight away. So you will need to keep going, testing new sites, testing what ads are working and which ones are not. And stay consistent by advertising daily.

Finding what advertising sites work is going to take a lot of searching. So I would suggest that you advertise from 30-60 min per day and spend another 30-45 min looking for new sites to advertise on. Keep track on which of the sites are bringing you the best results, and which ones you can leave and look for new ones.

Because you are advertising for free, many sites are going to send you their own advertisements. So open up a free email account and use that when joining new sites. To keep your email account from getting full, simply empty it once a week or so.

Some types of free advertising sites are Traffic Exchanges, Link Exchanges, Classified Ad sites, Banner Exchanges, Free Opt-in Mail sites.
* Traffic Exchanges work by you surfing other peoples sites, and for each site you look at you will earn credits.

* Link Exchanges require you to add other websites links onto your website and Vise-Versa. This type of advertising can also rank you higher on the Search Engines.

* Banner Exchanges are like Traffic Exchanges but you will put other sites banners onto yours and again each time they are shown you will earn credits.

* Classified Ad sites are pretty straight forward. You will be able to place your ad for a certain amount of time. That could be a f!
ew hours
to a few months. The longer the ad stays on the site the better chance of it being seen.

* Free Opt-in Email sites you can advertise to every member. But they can also send you their email ads, so this is where you will need that free email account. Depending on how many of these sites you join, you will be better off having an email account for each.

Free advertising lets you keep all of the profits that you make. It is a great way to build your Internet business without spending your hard earned cash. So you can save your money until you can afford to pay for advertising. Just remember, all you are giving up is time, so you have nothing to lose just to gain. Stay focused and consistent, and before you know it you will notice that you are getting good results.

All the best,
