Be Aware of Scams and Rip Off Artists - Part Two

In the previous article I talked about a kind of scam programs called HYIP programs and I told about the first golden rule which is avoiding these kinds of programs. In this article, I am talking about another kind of scamming on the web that caused - and still causes - thousands of people to lose their money. These programs are called surfing programs or websites.
They have a lot of similarities with the HYIP programs and the foundation of both of them are almost the same. They take money from new members and pay it to the previous members. So they are all Ponzi scheme which is illegal. I will let you know why Ponzi scheme programs are illegal in another article.
In surfing websites, you have to surf a special number of websites everyday and by doing this they pay you a percentage of the money that you have already paid them. For example they pay you 12% for 12 days. So after 12 days you will have 144% of the money you have invested. It means if you invest $100, after 12 days you will have $144. Unlike the HYIP websites, surfing websites don’t let you re-invest your money and you have to withdraw your money and then if you like to participate in one more cycle, you should pay them again.
Some of them don’t pay you any money unless you have an active and running cycle in your account. So they want you to keep on investing in order to receive the money that you had already made with them. This is also one of their other tricks.
The first surfing website that worked with this system was 12DailyPro.com. This website started working at the beginning of 2005 and last for ten months. Their program was 12X12%. It means you would made 144% after 12 days or in fact 12% everyday for 12 days.
They also was used to pay 12% of the income of the referrals to referrers. It means if you referred someone to their program, you will earn 12% of the money that your referral made. So they were also a kind of pyramid scheme which is another illegal activity for them.

ne stole the script they used to manage their website and sold it to thousands of others. So thousands of other surfing websites started working using exactly the same script. Most of them worked for few weeks or just a few months and then ran away with peoples’ money.
The 12DailyPro.com was the most miserable one. It worked for ten months and thousands of people joined it and it became one of the most popular websites. It was clear from the first day that they are illegal because they were Pozi scheme and pyramid but I don’t know why nobody cared and they could keep on working for ten months.
It is a long story and I don’t want to talk about it in detail but you’d better to know that thousands of people lost thousands of dollars and after more than one year they have not received their money back. Even those who made money with 12DailyPro have to pay the money back because the court is still busy with collecting the money to refund the investors money and those who made and received money, have to pay it back sooner or later.
Do you like to be involved to such programs? Definitely not. Everybody likes money and loves to make money but how and on what price? Do you like to make some money and then lose everything you had because of involving in an illegal program?

mind that making easy money is against the nature rule and when you see any chance or opportunity for making easy money, just close your eyes and forget about it because even if you make money through it, you will have to pay hundreds of times more somewhere else. Like the 12DailyPro members.
There are still a lot of oversees surfing programs. They still use the same damn 12DailPro script on their websites and those who are new to the internet, still become cheated by them.
So golden rule number two: Avoid surfing programs and any other get rich quick and easy money program. Be safe and not sorry.
